How did you get your start? What was your college major and were you always interested in t-shirt design? Did you always want to start your own business? Keep up the great work!

I’ve always wanted to start my own business.
I went to school for 3d animation. Photoshop was just ancillary education, but after I couldnt get a job in the game industry, I worked in sales by day, and at night I just refined my illustration photoshop skills. After a couple years, after I paid off my school debt, bought a car, saved up some money, I took a leap and quit my job determined to make a living as an artist even if it mean the possibility that I drained my savings. I didn’t have to. Within 2 months I got hired as an artist. Within 6 months got promoted to an art director. The small t-shirt company I worked for let me play on the equipment after hours in exchange for being a badass employee. hehe. It all kinda started from that, with a rinse and repeat cycle as I continued to move to better and better art director positions and freelancing.

Middle Tennessee State University. BS in Mass Communication with an emphasis on Digital Animation. It was geared for television graphics and teleprompter crap. I feel like the teaching was mostly useless except having to run around to different offices and get paperwork and signatures and Pell grants and etc taught me what the DMV would be like. Its like thanks for your money. Good luck with that. I pretty much created my own cirriculum my last few years, and the first few are stupid generals like History, Calculus, etc. WTF.
