I recently tried out a new company called Prints on Wood.
You “upload your favorite photos and/or artwork to create one-of-a-kind, show quality art pieces.”
Being a digital illustrator, I’ve always had a mental block participating in gallery shows or even putting up my own work since you have to get it printed and putting up a non screen printed poster of a digital work of art doesn’t feel that classy. Prints on Wood helps with that.
No frames to buy.
Classy sturdy wood canvas with keyholes for hanging.
Easy Peasy.
The website is pretty simple to use and they offer prints on various sizes. Smallest size is 4 x 6 for $20 plus shipping. Pretty cheap if you are just testing it out.
As far as the print, although it’s not as saturated and vibrant as a LCD monitor, it’s a great translation especially with the lighter colors showing through to the wood grain.
If you need some custom art to fill your space or as gifts, I would highly recommend Prints on Wood.
They update frequently on Facebook. Follow them! https://www.facebook.com/printsonwood
